Author Tạ Quang Tuấn is a member of the Vietnamese Abroad PEN Center and the Vietnamese PEN Center of the Eastern United States.
In 1980, he left his homeland on a perilous journey across the sea, carrying with him not only a few sets of worn clothes, but also the hope of finding a life of freedom—a place where he could give voice to the deepest truths of his heart. Fate eventually brought him to Montréal, Canada.
Toward the end of 1990, he moved to the United States. He earned a degree in Computer Information Systems Management and currently works in the financial field for the United States federal government.
In his spare time, he finds joy in poetry, travel, and quiet moments of reflection, when he listens to the echoes of the past—echoes that never truly fade from the heart of one who lives far from his homeland, yet continues to cherish the written word, humanity, and life itself…
